Silver PET self-adhesive label is a high-performance functional label material made from matte silver polyester film (PET) as the base material. It is produced through special surface coating treatment and precise composite technology. This product features "low reflection texture + extremely strong durability" as its core advantages, combining metallic texture with anti-environment interference properties. It is widely used in fields such as electronic digital products, industrial manufacturing, and high-end consumer goods that have dual requirements for label durability and visual texture. Its surface presents a uniform and fine matte silver color, and together with the high-performance pressure-sensitive adhesive system, it can maintain clear and complete information for a long time in complex environments, making it an ideal upgrade solution to replace traditional paper labels.
The substrate is made by stretching polyester film and applying a matte coating. The typical specification is 50μm (0.05mm) in thickness. It has the following remarkable features:
Outstanding physical properties: The tensile strength is ≥ 200MPa, with excellent tear resistance. It remains intact after 100 repeated tears, achieving the "not tearing" durability effect.
Wide temperature tolerance: After labeling for 24 hours, it can be used stably in the temperature range of -20℃ to +120℃. The strong adhesive formula is applicable within the range of -20℃ to +100℃, with the minimum labeling temperature not lower than 10℃.
Comprehensive protective capabilities: It has waterproof, oil-resistant, and chemical corrosion-resistant properties. The writing remains clear even after being soaked in gasoline for 7 days. It can resist common solvents and cleaning agents.
Matte surface characteristics: The surface gloss is ≤ 30GU (measured at 60° angle), effectively reducing reflection interference, and also having anti-fingerprint and scratch-resistant properties. After 500 friction tests, there is no obvious wear.
Through nanoscale coating technology, multiple functions are integrated:
Printing adaptation layer: The special coating on the surface enhances the adhesion of ink, supporting various printing methods such as UV curing and thermal transfer, and can achieve ultra-high precision graphic presentation with resin-based carbon tapes.
Anti-aging protection: UV absorbers are added, and the outdoor exposure test shows no obvious color change or brittleness within 12 months. In indoor environments, it can maintain stable performance for more than 3 years.
Texture control: Uniform silver metallic color, with a color saturation deviation of ≤ 5%, providing a consistent visual experience required for high-end industrial products.
The pressure-sensitive adhesive system adopts a layered design:
Adhesive type: The standard version uses permanent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, with a 180° peel strength of ≥ 9N/25mm; for low surface energy materials (such as PP/PE), a strong adhesive formula can be customized.
Base material adaptability: It has excellent adhesion performance to various surfaces such as metal, glass, and plastic. The bonding strength continuously increases within 72 hours after labeling.
Environmental compliance: The adhesive layer does not contain heavy metals and volatile organic compounds (VOC), meeting RoHS environmental standards. Some models have passed UL certification.
Processing compatibility: It supports secondary processing such as precision die-cutting, striping, and hot stamping. The minimum die-cutting accuracy can reach ±0.1mm, and the cutting edges are smooth without burrs.
Information persistence: The heat transfer printed content has excellent weather resistance. It does not fade or become blurry even after being stored at 80℃ high temperature and 90% humidity for 6 months.
Environmental adaptability: It passes IP65 waterproof and dustproof tests, and can maintain label integrity in outdoor rain, industrial oil stains, and other harsh environments.
